- •Ridge lots complicate service work. Houses stepping down the north slope of Alameda Ridge can have the meter base a full story below street level or accessible only from a side yard stair, which affects how we stage a mast replacement and where working clearance comes from.
- •Panels here are almost always in the basement. Older Alameda basements with partial finishing often have the load center boxed into a closet or behind a furnace, short of the 30 by 36 inch clearance the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code requires, so plan for some carpentry in a panel swap.
